What is a Super Silent rotary vane compressor?
The rotary vane compressor in a 30 mm double-insulated acoustic hood: 68 to 76 dB(A) depending on size. It is the range to choose when the compressor shares the room with people.

Flows, pressures, noise levels and dimensions recorded model by model on the catalogue sheets. Flows given at 8 bar.
The rotary vane in its acoustic enclosure, from 4 to 55 kW: the range to choose when the compressor lives in the same room as people, an open workshop, a laboratory, a shop. The noise level is measured on every model and appears in the table.
For the same flow it takes more room than the base version, and that is the price of silence.
A rotary vane compressor uses a single rotor, mounted off-centre in a cylindrical stator. Vanes slide in slots in the rotor and, through centrifugal force, come into contact with the stator wall, forming cells whose volume decreases as the rotor turns: the air is compressed progressively.
The rotor turns slowly (about 1,450 rpm), directly coupled to the motor, bathed in the oil that lubricates, seals and cools. This mechanical simplicity (a single rotating element, no jolts) explains the very low noise level and the exceptional service life.
Noise-sensitive environments and continuous operation: open-plan workshops, print shops, food processing, hospitals, sites where the compressor is close to the workstations. Ideal for very frequent starts and 24/7 service.
From 68 to 76 dB(A)
30 mm acoustic hood with double-layer insulation: 68 dB(A) on the small sizes, 76 dB(A) on the largest. The machine can be installed close to workstations.
A direct-drive rotor at 1,450 rpm
Single rotor driven at motor speed, with no gearbox or belt. Carbon-graphite vanes in an off-centre stator.
Efficiency that does not drop
The vanes slide towards the stator as they wear and keep their seal: efficiency does not degrade with the hours.
25 L oil reservoir
Oil system with a 25-litre reservoir and a visible level: checking takes a glance.
Intermittent duty
The vane air-end accepts the frequent stops and restarts of irregular consumption.
