Standard rotary vane
Standard fixed-speed rotary vane compressor: single low-speed direct-drive rotor, vanes that keep their seal as they wear, intermittent duty accepted. 4 to 55 kW, the core vane range for steady load.
11 models in the catalogue, flow 0.68 - 11 m³/min, pressure 8 - 13 bar, noise level 72 - 82 dB(A).
How it works ↓
What is a rotary vane compressor?
A single rotor turns slowly in an eccentric stator; vanes slide in its slots and form the compression chambers. As they wear, they slide out towards the stator and keep the seal: efficiency holds over the hours. Few moving parts, and repeated starts are accepted.

The rotary vane compressor runs slowly, on a single rotor: that is what gives it its longevity and its tolerance to repeated starts. From 4 to 55 kW, it covers the same flows as the small screw.
On a variable load, the drive version of the same family does better; on a steady load, this base range is the simplest.
A rotary vane compressor compresses air with a single rotor mounted off-centre in a cylindrical stator. Vanes slide in the rotor slots and, through centrifugal force, stay pressed against the wall: they form cells whose volume decreases as the rotor turns, compressing the air progressively and smoothly.
The rotor turns slowly (about 1,450-1,480 rpm), directly coupled to the motor. The injected oil lubricates, seals the gap between vanes and stator, and carries away the heat. No axial thrust acts on the rotor: no thrust bearing and no wear of the end faces, and the vanes adjust themselves without loss of performance, even after tens of thousands of hours.
The A series is the standard, fixed-speed version: the motor runs at a constant speed, controlled by load / off-load. It is the core of the rotary vane range, the best balance of robustness and price for a stable air demand.
Industrial workshops and SMEs with a steady load, wherever the longevity and easy maintenance of rotary vanes are wanted without the extra cost of an acoustic enclosure or a drive: mechanical engineering, metalworking, food processing, MRO. For a noise-sensitive environment, choose the Super Silent version; for variable demand, the VSD version.
A slow rotor, direct drive
A single off-centre rotor, coupled to the motor with no belt or gearbox, sweeps the stator with carbon-graphite vanes: few moving parts, no axial thrust.
Efficiency that does not drop
The vanes slide towards the stator as they wear and keep their seal: efficiency does not degrade with the hours, unlike the clearances that open up in a screw air-end.
Intermittent duty
The vane air-end accepts the frequent stops and restarts of irregular consumption, from the small workshop to stations that run in bursts.
Less than 3 ppm of oil
Injection lubrication and oil separation stated at under 3 ppm at the machine outlet.
Simple maintenance
Few parts, dismantling with standard tools: interventions are short and parts are ordered on the machine's reference.
